Schemes/National Sewing Machine Scheme [N-SMS]

Towards strengthening the National Rural Livelihood Mission, Govt. of India, the trust has initiated this novel and community changing scheme to empower rural women and make then financially free.

Under this initiative, economically weaker and financially challenged women can receive up to ₹5000 for purchasing a sewing machine.

• Identification proof
• Aadhaar card
• Income certificate
• Passport size photo
• Mobile number
• Caste certificate
• Widow certificate, if applicable
• Disability certificate, if applicable
• Gram Panchayat Approval

Eligibility Criteria for National Sewing Machine Scheme [N-SMS]

• Applicants must be female citizens of India.
• The age limit is set between 20 to 40 years.
• The family income of the applicant’s husband should not exceed ₹12,000 per month.
• The benefit is aimed at economically weaker sections.
• Widowed and disabled women are also eligible to apply.
