Project Coordinator – Agriculture & Livestock

Location: Bihar & Jharkhand (Block Level)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with 1+ year in Agriculture & Livestock projects to implement initiatives with field work in rural areas. Must be a Diploma/graduate, with good communication skills, and capable of engaging with rural communities, farmers, private stakeholders and government officials.

Qualifications:

Diploma in rural management/agri-business management/veterinary science/animal husbandry/dairy technology/fishery from recognized institutes/university with minimum 01 year of post-qualification relevant experience are eligible to apply for the position.

• Education: Diploma in rural management/agri-business management/veterinary science/animal husbandry/dairy technology/fishery from recognized institutes/university.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Agriculture and allied services programs, or related areas.
• Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate diverse community groups. Proficiency in data collection and reporting.

Key Responsibility:

• S/he will be responsible for executing as well as managing partnership activities of the project at Block level.
• S/he will be also responsible for backward and forward linkages to the community institutions and federations related to Dairy and livestock promotion.
• S/he will support and facilitate to Project Head [PH] in planning all dairy and agriculture based livelihoods activities in the block.
• S/he will be also working as resource support available to Block Project Implementation Unit [BPIU] units for executing partnership-based activities or any other dairy and livestock-based livelihoods activities.
• S/he will also have to undertake extensive field visit/work to ensure the quality project/program interventions.
• Any other task assigned time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual

Pay: ₹6,000.00 – ₹7,000.00 per month

Work Time: Day shift

Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus
