Project Coordinator – Woman Health & Hygiene

Location: Bihar & Jharkhand (Block Level)

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator-Woman Health & Hygiene will be responsible for leading and coordinating women health related initiatives within the designated Block. This role involves working closely with community members, health professionals, and local organizations to promote awareness, education, and access to health & menstrual hygiene products and services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about women’s health and empowerment, with a strong commitment to improving menstrual health and hygiene among adolescents and women in the community.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Gender Studies, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in community health, women’s health programs, or related areas; experience in menstrual hygiene management is a plus.
• Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate diverse community groups. Proficiency in data collection and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Implementation: Lead the planning and execution of woman health management programs at the block level, ensuring adherence to project goals and timelines.
• Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community members, schools, and local organizations to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene, oral hygiene, iron deficiency, diabetic care and facilitate program participation.
• Awareness Campaigns: Design and implement awareness campaigns to educate the community on woman health and hygiene (menstrual health) issues and the importance of hygiene.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and report on program progress, collecting data to assess the impact of programs initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

Additional Information:

• This position requires travel within the designated block.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual

Pay: ₹6,000.00 – ₹7,000.00 per month

Schedule: Day shift

Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus
