Dear Trustees & Well-wishers,
It is always a pleasure to write a report when there is good news to convey. Savita Sharma and whole RSUP’s family are doing such a great job for the poor, needy and marginalized individuals, groups or societies that reporting their achievements becomes a real joy. Rashtriya Samajik Utthan Parishad (RSUP) over the last 06 years has established itself as an organization committed towards welfare and empowerment of civil society. The organization has worked with various other organizations and individuals to create a platform and an understanding towards marginalized, needy and voiceless people. Taking impetus from its previous work organization this year articulated and highlighted issues of girl education, sustainable rural livelihoods and high-cost healthcare at the state and national level as well.
Working with locals ensure opportunities of education, healthcare, nutrition, environment protection, women empowerment, livelihoods, social welfare and social awareness. it was thus necessary to work with different stake holders. Our grass-roots approach to change allows us to know the people, the problems, and the potential of each community we serve. Wherever we go, we act and feel like a local non-governmental organisation. Our staffs live within the community and learn all the hopes and challenges each community faces specially in Covid-19 period. Interns and volunteers have been an important resource at RSUP bringing energy, enthusiasm and hard work to the organization. They have added to the empanelment of service providers and written articles which are published for the broader public to read. I would like to express my gratitude to the Board whose skilled guidance has helped RSUP come so far. I would also like to acknowledge the hard work put in by the staff as well as the support of countless caregivers, service providers and funders. About
